Elm + Company Interiors is a Michigan based company led by Principal Designer, Lauren McKay. We offer full service residential interior design.

We love bringing freshness into your style, and making beautiful, livable spaces for your family to grow, gather and make memories in. 

I decided that I wanted to be an Interior Designer at a young age. One of my earliest memories designing was around 4th grade when I had decided I was going convert our attic into my own bedroom. 

I graduated from Eastern Michigan University with a B.S. in Interior Design. I landed opportunities working with some of Detroit’s most prestigious designers and gained valuable experience in high-end residential and commercial design. 

After 7 years of experience, I launched Elm + Co Interiors in 2019. I truly believe that homes play a huge role in our daily lives + emotions and that design in your home should be personal, influencing functionality + spirit. I love merging beauty with functional aesthetic and appreciate designs using clean lines + natural light. 

I am best described as a Wife, Mama and Interior Designer in that order. I love being on the go. When I am not designing, I am spending time with my family + friends. I love to spend time in my kitchen, cooking up new recipes and baking treats for my kids.
